So ... I last left you all enjoying a lovely video of Kez with Grandparents Hooper as we celebrated Jean's birthday in July.
As you can imagine, we have been up to quite a lot since then but I will try and condense it down a bit to save you all the agony of a really long post! As always - all of the videos have a soundtrack and are best viewed in full screen (the little outward pointing arrows symbol to the right of the word Vimeo at the bottom of the video)
I had a lovely time with Kezia over the summer holidays. We saw a lot of Aunty Suzie and Harry and had some really lovely days playing in their swimming pool and lounging about the field with the horses.
We also had lots of visits with Grum and Grandpa Watkinson ...
One of the trips that we managed to rope Chance into was a local affair at Wrest Park. During WW1 Wrest Park was turned into a military convalescing hospital and this year they remembered the soldiers who recovered there by doing some re-enacting. We went along to have a look and had a jolly good time! Kezia made friends with some other little children and had a lovely time running 'round with them before we went off for our own family adventure
Later in the summer Kez and I went to Stowe Landscape Gardens with Grum and Grandpa W. It was a lovely day - although a little chilly and we managed to avoid all rainclouds!
At the end of the summer I took Kez, along with Grum and Grandpa W, to see the English National Ballet perform Sleeping Beauty. Oh my goodness - Kez was blown away! It was a lovely production of the ballet and Kez did really well to last the entire 3.5 hour performance. I was incredibly proud of how grown up she is!
Then following on from The Olympics, there was Horse of the Year Show. Kez loved watching the Mounted Pony Club Games and so we had our own version of HOYS at the stables
Much of our holiday has been spent having little days here and there, so here is a selection of photos from the summer period.
Watch out for the next update over the weekend ... Kezia's First Ballet Exam (eek!) ,her very first Halloween Party, and a special little something for the festive period.
